Please note the box office closes 30 minutes before posted closing time. No guests will be admitted after the posted closing time. As long as you are in line before the posted closing time, you will get to go through all of the attractions.

Sorry, no refunds will be given under any circumstances. If there's a chance you might not be able to make it, we recommend including Purchase Protection with your order, which is available with all orders at checkout.
You can read the full terms and conditions here, but in short: for a fee totaling approximately 8% of your order total, you can protect your order against unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from attending. If your circumstances meet the parameters of the agreement, you'll receive a 100% reimbursement on your order. This service is offered through a 3rd party provider; we do not issue the refunds.
Yes. Nightmare on Edgewood accepts all major credit cards and Apple Pay.
Yes. They are $5 cheaper if you buy them with cash.
A Chicken Ticket upgrade allows you to wear a yellow vest and glowstick to signal to our actors that you do NOT want the full-contact experience. Chicken tickets can be added to your order on the page after you select haunted house tickets. (Find them below Fear Chamber tickets)
Yes. Groups of 15-19 get $5 off. Groups of 20+ get $10 off. Group pricing is only available for our $35 General Admission ticket. Call, text or email for more information.
Yes - $5 off General Admission tickets with military ID. Discount applies to that individual only. This discount is only available at the box office.

You may reschedule your tickets up to one hour before doors open on the date of the tickets. To reschedule your tickets, please visit this link and follow these steps:
- Create / log into your account using the link above.
- Click 'My Tickets' in the upper right corner.
- Click on the "Reschedule" option under the ticket information.
- Select a new date from the drop-down menu.
- Click "Reschedule."
Yes, you may transfer your tickets to someone else up to one hour before doors open on the date of the tickets. To transfer your tickets, please visit this link and follow these steps:
- Create / log into your account using the link above.
- Click 'My Tickets' in the upper right corner.
- Click on the "Transfer" option under the ticket information.
- Select the quantity of tickets to transfer and enter an email address to transfer them to.
- Click "Transfer."
Sorry, we do not offer special pricing for young children. Everyone pays the same price, regardless of age. You may want to consider bringing your young children to our Lights On Trick or Treat for Kids.
All ages are welcome at Nightmare on Edgewood, but we are an intense, full contact haunted house and advise you to use discretion when bringing small children. Well behaved teenagers may attend without adult chaperones IF they follow all the rules.
Outside The Haunt
Yes. The most important thing is that you get here.
Yes - we have limited parking onsite and appreciate carpooling and ridesharing.
The ticket booth and security check are outside. All of our attractions and queue line are indoors. (Pro-tip: if it's raining, buy online to skip the ticket booth line!)
We have sodas, chips, candy and hot chocolate for sale.
No. No alcohol is permitted on the haunted house property.
Yes, our merchandise booth is at the end of all three attractions where you can buy Nightmare on Edgewood gear. You may also purchase your reaction photo in the merchandise booth. (Note: reaction photos are NOT available online and must be purchased THAT NIGHT in person.)
Smoking is only allowed outside. Once inside, no smoking or vaping is allowed.
No. Due to the physical nature of our haunted attraction, there is a possibility it could fall out of your possession and be found by another customer. Please leave them at home or in your vehicle.
No, all of our attractions are indoors.
Our haunted attractions and waiting lines are inside. Our ticket booth and security checkpoint are outside, as well as queue line overflow on very busy nights. If it is raining, we will be open, but you may want to wear a rain jacket.
Yes, we have security on staff every night.
Yes. All bags will be searched at the door and all customers will be checked with metal detector before entering the venue.
Yes, we have porta--pottys on site that are accessible while you are waiting in line inside.
Inside The Haunt
Yes. We are Indy's most intense haunted house. Check out our reviews and testimonials to learn more.
Yes, we are a full-contact haunted attraction. You WILL be touched (unless you purchase a Chicken Ticket).
Yes, for an additional $10 you may purchase a Chicken Ticket, which grants access to all three haunted attractions, except you will wear a bright yellow "chicken" vest, signaling to our actors that you DO NOT want the full contact, hands on interactive experience.
Yes. People who may be sensitive to extreme conditions, including fog and smoke, strobe and other intense lighting, the dark, and sudden loud noises should NOT visit Nightmare on Edgewood.
Groups vary in size from 2 to 6. If your party is larger than 6, you will be asked to split up.
The time varies from group to group, but the average time to complete all three attractions is 30-40 minutes per group.
No photos or videos may be taken once inside the haunt. You are welcome to take photos outside while you wait in line. Don’t forget to tag us in your social media posts!
If you are a member of the media, please contact media@nightmareonedgewood.com to request special photo and video accommodations.
Tell our actors at any point in time if you feel you need to exit; they will escort you out of the attraction immediately. (NOTE: you will not receive a refund if you do not make it through the entire attraction and exit early.)
Yes. Violation of any of our rules—including touching the actors—could result in your removal from the attraction with no refund.
All ages are welcome; however, the event is an extreme haunted attraction; please use discretion when bringing young children.
We do not recommend pregnant women go through the haunted house UNLESS they purchase a Chicken Ticket.
We do not recommend people with asthma go through the haunted house. If cleared by your doctor to go through the haunt, bring your inhaler or another device that may help you breathe better, as we have numerous fog and haze machines throughout the haunt. Persons with epilepsy & heart issues should also exercise caution in deciding to participate in Nightmare on Edgewood. We only want everyone to have a safe time.

Yes, you can wear costumes to the haunted house. However, we ask that you not wear a full face mask or carry a prop.
Please do not bring items of value into the haunt, as we unfortunately cannot stop the attraction to search for them. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items and therefore recommend that you keep your wallet, cell phone, and keys in a very secure location. If you lose an item, please leave your information with the ticket booth in the event that we find your lost item(s).
Maybe! Our staff might approach you for a photo or an interview before or after you enter the haunted house, which could then be posted to our social media pages. If you don't want to, please feel free to decline. It is also possible that your photo might be taken while inside the attraction. Because commercial photography and filming activities are conducted at Nightmare on Edgewood Haunted House, entry onto the grounds, into the facility, and/or use of an admission ticket constitutes your consent for Nightmare on Edgewood to use any pictures or films it takes that you may be in without notification or compensation.
