About Haunters Against Hate

Haunters Against Hate Booth

Haunters Against Hate is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting the LGBTQ+ community, especially focusing on empowering and uplifting LGBTQ+ youth. Through grants to local organizations and educational initiatives, they aim to break down prejudice and eliminate discrimination.

Funded by generous donations, event partnerships with haunted attractions, and the sale of merchandise at horror conventions, Haunters Against Hate works tirelessly to foster inclusivity within the horror community and beyond. Their flagship programs, like the Book of Haunters series and their own events, help raise both awareness and critical support for their mission.

FUN FACT:

Paul, the founder of Haunters Against Hate, began his haunted attraction career as a graphic designer for Nightmare on Edgewood. He also played the character Shovel Man, featured in the video above. In the video below, Paul shares his hilarious origin story, including a fun throwback to one of our most talked-about attractions, Phobia, from our old location at the Edgewood Athletic Association.
